Issues

  • Compare fails with these two files

for whatever reason with these html files the compare takes 5 min + and then fails. There seems to be no infmortiation about why they fail. I have tried convertting to pdf to compare as well for this HTML and that also does not work.

  • Can't compare two word files for unknown reason

The API responds with HTTP/1.1 422 A comparison document could not be created. • Cannot compare large PDFs

When I try to compare via the API these two large PDFs I always get this error: Client error: `GET https://api.workshare.net/compare-service/api/Compare?originalSourceUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fmerry.platform.reorg-stage.com%2Fdata%2Fsec_pdf_tmp%2F5b806811bbc0c737668b4814.pdf&modifiedSourceUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fmerry.platform.reorg-stage.com%2Fdata%2Fsec_pdf_tmp%2F5d6fdb8bbbc0c748018b45e1.pdf&outputFormat=Pdf` resulted in a `422 A comparison document could not be created. This is usually caused by one or both of the input documents being corrupt or in an unsupported file format` response The source for these files are .html, so I convert them to PDFs to be compared. I have tried pdfdoc, Prince, chrome and wkthmltopdf to do the conversions and all of them fail. Is there some sort of limitation in size for PDF comparisons? I dont see anything corrupted in these PDFs. I look forward to hearing back about this soon.
